The Kirchenwirt can be seen from a long way off on the hill at Purberg in Graz-Mariatrost, right next to the famous Mariatrost Basilica. Our hotel restaurant is set in the perfect surroundings for unwinding and leaving everyday cares behind. Right outside the front door you’ll find walks and jogging trails just waiting to be discovered

How to find us

If travelling by car, enter our address Kirchbergstrasse, 8044 Graz-Mariatrost into your navigation system. You’ll find ample free parking right in front of the hotel.

The Kirchenwirt is also very easy to reach by public transport

Please note: if you are travelling by tram and have luggage, please let us know so that we can arrange for someone to fetch your luggage from the tram stop to the hotel.

Please note that all interior areas of our hotel are non-smoking. We would therefore request that you smoke only in the outdoor dining area. We should also mention that we do not sell tobacco products.

Our restaurant and hotel is housed in a building that is partially listed as a historic structure. Because of these architectural restrictions, we regret that our hotel does not have a lift.
